Our mission is to ensure we all participate in the constant quest of knowledge, learning and adventure so that each individual can build upon their core strengths to aspire to make a real difference.

Our main purpose is to ensure that all our children have the conditions necessary for them to make continuous improvement. We do this by maintaining a working atmosphere throughout the school, by ensuring they are motivated and by having high expectations about standards of achievement.

Our school is a learning environment where we learn together to be the best we can.We aim to provide an interesting, welcoming and safe place for learners, somewhere where they will be expected not only to do their best but also to support and encourage their peers and appreciate those who are different.

Within our school everyone is valued and given opportunities to develop a range of views and opinions within a supportive, moral and social framework.

We are committed to teach the basic skills of reading, writing, mathematics and science to the highest level.

We ensure that our curriculum gives all our children experiences over a wide range and enables them to develop abilities in all subjects. We plan tasks that extend each child and build on previous experience and learned skills.

We have a credit system for behaviour, clear to children, staff and parents, which supports and rewards good behaviour and encourages children to take responsiblity for their own actions.

We set challenging tasks for all our pupils and give them support when they find work difficult, sympathy when they are distressed and the opportunity to
celebrate their successes.

Good relationships between home and school are vital. We hope that through shared information, and always being available to listen to you and act when you need our support, we can work together, co-operatively, to promote your child's wellbeing.
