I am incredibly proud to be Headteacher at Sutton Valence Primary School and to work with such a dedicated team, who strive to provide the best education and fundamental life skills for the children that attend our school.
Through our school values of DETERMINATION, EXCELLENCE, COURAGE, FRIENDSHIP, EQUALITY, INSPIRATION and RESPECT, we want to ensure that all children achieve not only their academic potential but also leave Sutton Valence Primary School with the skills and knowledge to be positive global citizens. In order to succeed, all children are taught the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices, mental health and wellbeing and developing key social skills that they will need as they move through life.
We want every family and child to feel part of the school community. Therefore, building relationships between our staff, governors, families and wider community is incredibly important to us in order to ensure that we are all working together to provide the very best support for all children at our school.
Providing a safe and inspiring learning environment is integral to the successful development of all children. We aim to do this by offering:
- An engaging and bespoke curriculum that inspires children’s learning.
- A wide range of extracurricular opportunities such as school trips, workshops and a range of clubs.
- The opportunity to take part in Earth Class throughout the year in order to gain badges for specific skills learnt during the sessions, promote wellbeing and different social skills as well as promoting environmental issues.
Sutton Valence Primary School is a happy and vibrant place to learn and grow and I am proud of the whole school community’s commitment to drive forward in all aspects of school life.
Please take the opportunity to look through our website to see examples of the different opportunities we offer.
