School Trips

22nd November 2022 - Year 3 had great fun at Kent Life, joining in with a full day of Stone Age workshop activities linked to our history theme - Stone Age to Iron Age. Throughout the day, Year 3 created cave art, learnt about survival, different weapons and tools, beliefs and burials and how people started to settle in larger communities as farming developed and became a more efficient way of living. We even met a Stone Age man - named Claw, and were able to try our skills of grinding grain to make flour by hand! Everyone had a great day and we were very lucky to escape the torrential rain that came every other day last week!
