Welcome to Year R and to Team Superstars! 

Please remember to name all belongings and bring in a named bottle daily. These are only to be filled with water and can be refilled throughout the day.

PE will take place every Thursday and Friday (as of 19th Sept), please make sure your child comes into school wearing the correct kit. 

Green Contact books will be checked daily for any messages, please do the same. Contact books, reading records and books will be sent home in a plastic folder, please ensure they stay in this folder to be kept safe from any leaking water bottles!

Our class page will be updated regularly with photos and information so please check in here regularly.

HOME LEARNING

Phonics – Practise finding the initial, medial and final sounds in words using balloon phonics.

Maths â€“ Play a board game (or make up your own game) that uses a die. Can you recognise the numbers without counting the spots? Try this Numberblocks game.

PE â€“ If you would like a little bit of exercise or need to use up a bit of energy you can follow Mr Move It.

Knowledge and Understanding of the World â€“ We have been learning about inventors. Can you see a problem at home that needs solving? Plan an invention of your own. Draw a picture of how you would like your invention to look – can you label it? Now try making it, you could use any construction materials - Duplo, Lego or boxes from the recycling to create your invention.
 
Please do take photos of any creations and send them to us (or load onto Tapestry), we would love to see what you have made!
