Welcome to Year 1 Forest Friends!

Please remember to name all belongings and bring a water bottle daily, these will be refilled throughout the day when needed. Green contact books will be checked daily for any messages please do the same. 

PE days are Thursdays and Fridays

If your child would like to be able to go in our garden all year round please bring a named pair of wellie boots to school that can stay on our wellie rack.

 Homework:

Here is a list of homework that the children should be doing weekly to avoid confusion:

2 x reading over weekend little wandles book (Comes home on Friday, MUST be back on Monday)

Reading of library book as many times as you like (read for pleasure with your child) (Comes home Friday to be returned on the next Friday)

Any problems, please write a note in the contact book- I am more than happy to help!

Don't forget learning happens all the time for us, even through our play! Can you build something with lego, maybe a castle? Can you make something with some junk modelling? Can you go outside and spot all the winter seasonal changes we have learnt about? Could you do some baking? Or make your own menu for a restaurant?
