Foraged spring greens were mixed with lemon, olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper.
Some children grated some parmesan into their wild garlic pesto, then dipped in some bread disc, simply made with self raising flour, a sprinkle of caster sugar and water until dough like, then gently cooked.
Finn thoughtfully brought in some pots and sunflower seeds for each of his classmates to sow.
This was for Down’s Syndrome Day, to raise awareness about living with Down’s Syndrome, as his younger brother does.
Just like the sunflower, we all grow and bloom in different ways.
