Gold Awards
Each week our teaching staff select two children per class for Friday Gold Award Assembly. These children are selected in acknowledgement of how they have worked hard that week. The reason could be varied, for example:
- Improvement of their work
- Concentrated effort
- Great behaviour
- Being a good friend
- Completing research at home
Every week, the group of children awarded will be displayed here on our website so that both parents and pupils can read the reasons for the award and presentation. The group is also displayed in our Gold Book which is kept in the school entrance foyer, enabling a child that has gained an award to be able to read and see, with great pride, that their efforts have been recognised.
