Our mission is that we all participate in the constant conquest of knowledge, learning and adventure so that each individual can build upon their core strengths to aspire to make a real difference.
We achieve this by delivering a knowledge based curriculum that allows all children the opportunity to ask questions, take risks and think creatively and critically about the information presented to them. Our curriculum is taught through themes in order to enable all children to make links between subjects and previous year groups to assist them in gaining a wider picture of the world. Having a healthy mind and healthy body is key to supporting our curriculum as children learn how to take care of themselves, of their emotions and understand how to ensure their mind is healthy and how to ask for help. This allows all children to develop a growth mindset so that they are ready and able to learn and develop in all areas. Our Forest School also supports our curriculum as it is a place where all children can use and apply their knowledge and skills in a range of real life contexts and allows the development of open practical thinking and problem solving which is integral in all areas of life.
